Dr. Wong described his early career of appearing on a two-hour KCBS radio show, San Francisco, in early 1980. He subsequently received 3,000 letters and phone calls from this one appearance. He spoke about how 1976 President Elect Jimmy Carter who owed no federal income tax and in 1980 had recovered all the taxes from the previous three years.
